Panic and Anxiety Disorders
Panic and anxiety are both natural functions of the human body. It is only when they start to behave unaturally that we begin to incur problems and they become disorders. Panic and anxiety are our bodies way of telling us to keep cautious about what may be happening around us. If there is danger - we should naturally be cautious of our surroundings. These are animal instincts built on survival that we are automatically programmed to feel. Unfortunately for some, these feelings of panic and anxiety are greatly amplified and cause much distress amongst other complications.
Panic and anxiety disorders are a complex beast. They differ greatly from person to person and their underlying affects make life hard in most cases. The aim of this site is to provide insight and support for those suffering from any kind of anxiety related illness or one of its many counterparts. Understanding sets a solid foundation to beating your illness. Having received great treatment and support for social anxiety myself, I now have an understanding about what keeps the illness going and factors needed to relieve the symptoms successfully.
